COVINGTON, Ky. — Braxton Brewing Co., a Cincinnati-area brewery, and Graeter’s Ice Cream have launched a seasonal Pumpkin Pie Ale.
The beer was inspired by Graeter’s classic seasonal pumpkin ice cream and features notes of pumpkin pie spice and hints of pie crust. It is the first pumpkin ale from Braxton.
The brew is available at Cincinnati, Dayton, Columbus and Northern Kentucky-area Kroger stores and other area retailers on a limited basis.
“Fall is a great time to be in the beer business, especially this year,” said Jake Rouse, CEO of Braxton Brewing. “Our new Pumpkin Pie Ale is not only a first for us, but we’re also fortunate enough to once again be inspired by our friends at Graeter’s. This is a beer that we’re hoping will be another big hit with fans.”
Pumpkin Pie Ale follows Braxton and Graeter’s collaboration on Braxton’s Black Raspberry Chocolate Chip Milk Stout, as well as the launch of Graeter’s Stout & Pretzels Ice Cream.
